Artist's Comments

This was taken for a studio lighting assignment in a photography class. The day my model came in, my light meter wasn't working and I got no shots. So I had to re-do it, but no model was available. Except for the abandoned tv in the studio, dressed up with my hat and scarf.

Shot with a Mamiya C220 TLR, perhaps my favorite camera in the world.

I adore this in so many ways. You could even see it as something deeper than just a portrait.
